Lorenza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana and a MS in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices from Columbia University. Her professional experience spans business development, project management, and communications, with a focus on building sustainable frameworks for creative and cultural ventures. Alongside her academic training, she has completed specialized programs in entrepreneurship and innovation, including LUCHA Ventures’ Impact Founder Training (2025) and a Business Direction and Development Diploma from ITAM (2022). El Caballito works with families and legatees seeking professional guidance to preserve, organize, and transform their collections into living archives that project their legacy into the future.
Our work begins with a comprehensive assessment of each archive to identify its specific needs. Based on this analysis, we design tailored strategies that ensure both long-term preservation and meaningful cultural activation.

Lorenza was an Avery Scholarship recipient at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, where she completed the MS CCCP, a two-year program focused on advanced training in architectural criticism, research, writing, publishing, and curatorial practice, expanding architecture beyond traditional professional and academic models. As part of her studies, she completed elective coursework at Columbia Business School and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Her independent research culminated in the thesis Urban Canvas: Stories on (a) Chromatic Event(s), advised by Wonne Ickx. Her research examines the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games as a chromatic and mediatic construction of national identity, analyzing how design, color, and media were strategically mobilized to shape enduring cultural narratives amid socio-political tensions.

Lorenza founded and led a multi-channel venture integrating editorial publishing, public programs, and a digital network, while designing and testing diversified business models including B2B services, subscriptions, and brand collaborations. Led the editorial direction of four published volumes and multiple live and digital activations, forging partnerships with leading institutions and studios to expand reach and impact. Lorenza produced large-scale launches of over 200 attendees that combined brand partnerships with community engagement, securing media coverage in ArchDaily, Architectural Digest, and Local MX. She raised early-stage capital through community-based funding, sponsorships, and collaborations with brands such as Crest, Comex, Cosentino, and Cuervo. In addition, Lorenza developed the Talent Market prototype with input from over 250 creative professionals and positioned MENTES as a regional reference for equity and innovation in Latin American design, growing a community of over 5,000 members.
